Who Should Attend?
Anybody with experience of teaching first aid who wants to gain
a qualification that will enable them to teach the AED course.
All delegates must have a current First Aid qualification at First Aid at Work (FAW) level
or above.
Course Content
Delegates will receive training in the following topics:
You will get the opportunity to practice on the following defibrillators.
Course Duration
The course duration 1 Day (9am - 6pm).
Learning Outcome
This course will give you the knowledge, skills and ability to enable you to deliver the
three hour Automated External Defibrillator Course.
Assessment & Certification
On successful completion of both a practical and written assessment delegates will be
awarded an AED Instructors certificate, which is valid for two years.
On successful completion of the course delegates will also receive an Instructors
manual, lesson plans and Power Point presentation which can be used when running
your courses.
