Fire Safety Course

This will give your staff a greater awareness of the hazards a fire will present, and increase their knowledge in practical fire safety measures, and perhaps more importantly give them the opportunity to use a fire extinguisher on a real fire under the safest of conditions. (Subject to a suitable location)

Course Content
Delegates will receive training in:-

• Chemistry of fire.
• Triangle of combustion.
• Actions in the event of a fire.
• Raising the alarm.
• Types of extinguishers.
• Selecting, testing and using the appropriate extinguisher for the class of fire.
• Limitations of fire extinguishers.
• Practical live fire training.
• Demonstrate and practice in safe use of extinguishers on live fires.

Course Duration
Three hours, assessment is carried out by the trainer throughout the course.

Course Outcome
On completion of the course, candidates will receive a fire awareness certificate, which is valid for a year.
