CIEH Level 2 Food Safety

It is a requirement that all food handlers are trained in basic Food Safety. This Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Accredited course is designed to equip food handlers with the knowledge needed to ensure the safety needs of all.

Course Content
Delegates will receive training in a range of First Aid topics: -

  • An introduction into food safety
  • Legislation relating to food safety
  • Understanding of food safety hazards
  • The correct way in which to handle food
  • The correct way in which to store food
  • How to use food equipment effectively
  • The importance of cleanliness within a food handling area

Course Duration
The course duration is six hours.

Course Outcome
Each delegate will receive a Level 2 Food Safety Handbook and an A4 CIEH Accredited certificate on successful completion of both the course activities and the multiple choice question paper.
