Load Management Manual Handling Course

This course is ideal for any work environment as it raises the importance of good manual handling techniques. Poor manual handling can result in the cost of an accident, the lost time, the replacement labour, compensation, fines, the list is endless and the sums large.

Course Content
Delegates will receive training in:-

• Car of the spine
• Safe lifting techniques
• Making objects safe
• Minimizing work place hazards
• Risk Assessments
• Team handling
• Pushing/pulling loads
• Aids to manual handling

Course Duration
Four hours, assessment is carried out by the trainer throughout the course.

Course Outcome
On completion of the course, candidates will receive a Manual Handling certificate that is validated by North West First Aid Ltd for one year.
