Stroke Awareness Course

This course offers an introduction in how to manage Stroke and how to support people living with the effects of Stroke.

Who Should Attend?
Any Care Worker wishing to further their knowledge and understanding of the medical emergency Stroke.

Course Content
Delegates will receive an awareness in a range of topics:-

• What is Stroke?
• Types of Stroke.
• How to recognise Stroke.
• Emergency Treatment of Stroke.
• Stroke drugs/treatments available.

Course Duration
The course duration is six hours.

Assessment & Certification
Assessment is carried out by the trainer throughout the course. On successful completion of the course activities and Multiple Choice Question Paper, delegates will receive a certificate of attendance from North West First Aid Ltd.
